云南中科灵长类生物医学重点实验室 副主任
以非人灵长类为模式动物,探索灵长类早期发育与神经退行疾病的机制,结合靶向基因编辑和干细胞技术开展疾病治疗的研究。2014年作为核心成员成功运用基因编辑技术,实现了灵长类动物的靶向基因修饰,获得了世界首只经过基因靶向修饰的基因工程猴。研究成果以第一作者在 Cell 杂志发表,引起全球科学界和主流媒体的关注,Nature 杂志将这一研究成果称为人类疾病模型研究发展的里程碑并被入选2014成功科学事件之一。该文章不仅入选 Cell 2014年十篇最受关注论文,也是迄今为止该杂志前5%高关注度学术文章。至今在Cell,Cell Stem Cell和PNAS等杂志以第一作者或通讯作者发表SCI论文30余篇。曾获中科院卢嘉锡青年奖和云南省青年科技奖。作为课题负责人承担过863和973课题,目前承担有国家自然基金联合基金项目1项。2016年,作为首席科学家承担国家重点研发计划“干细胞及转化研究”重点专项项目1项。
